Thinning (Multi-Path Linear Degradation) PoF Model - Preview
We have released a new PoF model in Preview Mode! The purpose of the "Thinning (Multi-Path Linear Degradation)" is to determine the Predicted Failure Date and Probability of Failure over time. This model has a unique approach that models thinning in as a set of linear degradations using thickness measurements and modeled corrosion rates.
We believe that this model offers some improvements of the Thinning (Linear Degradation) PoF Model such as better handling growths and other anomalies that are common in thickness data sets.
The new model is selectable on your Failure Mode card and will return results similar to the image below
The cladding, base material, and critical limit thicknesses are now labeled clearly on the LVC graph and are included in the legend.
Component Level fields and other changes.
Users can see and edit component description field on the ARA Screen under Details>Attributes
User can add Component Type that is filtered based on the Asset Type being entered
User can enter Operating Status, Install, and In-Service Sates that are different at the Asset & Component level. These fields will be visible on the Asset Register and ARA details page
User can use Excel worksheets to insert, update, and delete Susceptible Areas, Susceptible Area variables, and relationship in Newton. This new sheet is in the Inspection Data import.
Inner Diameter and Critical Limit will be validated before importing data for Thickness CMLs to prevent incorrect data import
Monitoring Reading Location now accepts MBPD Unit of Measure
Scenario Comparison Page
The Scenario Comparison page is fully functional and we have finished implementing the Date & Unit filters.
Other Updates and Fixes
Availability KPIs on the ARA "Review Assessments" will display a value when the asset has had ARA calculation ran and the asset has an availability time series
Job notifications page now shows the Job Created date, Processing Time and Total Duration time for the job to finish
The Representative Carrier Fluid is now logically sorted
All pulldown menu options are alphabetized except in cases where there are natural order (like low, medium and high)
The Asset Risk Over Time chart on Results page allows user to download data when name of the component is over 35 characters.
Asset Sub-Type icons have been updated
Browser-saved calculation date range for dashboard date filter is now restricted from exceeding limits of Calculation Date Range set in Facility/Scenario options
POF calculation fails for assessment calculation with a Weibull PoF Model and a Switchgear/Switchboard/Distribution Board Asset Type
